2023 Sauvignon Blanc
The 2023 Kick Ranch Sauvignon Blanc erupts with fresh aromas of strawberry-kiwi, passion fruit, and sweet Meyer lemon. The palate is zesty with flavors of clementine and Thai basil complimented by richer flavors of guava, a perfectly balanced summer delight.

Finer Details
The 2023 growing season was a much-welcomed change of pace as above average winter rainfall replenished aquifers and left soil profiles fully saturated to start the growing season. A cool slow progression into spring delayed bud break and prolonged flowering, generally slowing the start to the season and the timeline of grape development. Veraison was two to three weeks behind compared to the last few years. Grapes benefited from long hangtimes and developed mature phenolics at lower sugar levels. Great color, acidity, and varietal character are trademarks of the 2023 vintage in Sonoma County and will be a vintage to cherish at your table in 5, 10, or even 20 years. Bricoleur Vineyard’s Sauvignon Blanc comes from our second estate vineyard, Kick Ranch, in the Fountaingrove District AVA. The Sauvignon Blanc vines are over twenty years old and planted on the steepest section of the vineyard. The vines have established roots going down deeper than six feet down in certain areas. These conditions consistently produce some of the most aromatically complex fruit we work with each year. Kick Ranch is a stunning hillside vineyard with rich volcanic soils seated on the western slopes of the Mayacamas Range.
