Everyone has been touched by cancer in some way. At Bricoleur Vineyards, this fight is deeply personal. Co-Founder Sarah Citron is one of over 4 million people in the U.S. impacted by breast cancer. Since her diagnosis in April 2023, she has bravely undergone chemotherapy, radiation, a double mastectomy, and many reconstructive surgeries - all while continuing to advocate for early detection and advancing cancer research.
Through our Sip With Purpose campaign, Bricoleur Vineyards has proudly donated over $102,000 to organizations like The V Foundation, The American Cancer Society, and Cycle for Survival. With every bottle of Isla Rose Brut Rosé sold, we donate $5 to the V Foundation and for every case purchased, our founders personally match the $60 donation.

Donate to the V Foundation
Bricoleur Vineyards’ founders have proudly supported the V Foundation since 2022 through their involvement with Sonoma Epicurean. Then in 2023 when Bricoleur's Co-Founder & CEO, Sarah Citron was unexpectedly diagnosed with cancer, the V Foundation were who she reached out to first for resources. It was through this connection that she learned about the groundbreaking I-SPY 2 clinical trial, which targets hormone-driven breast cancers. Sarah completed this trial in 2024 and it successfully reduced her tumor by 40%, offering hope to thousands facing similar diagnoses.
Founded by ESPN and legendary coach Jim Valvano, the V Foundation for Cancer Research is committed to achieving Victory Over Cancer®. Since 1993, it has awarded over $310 million in research grants nationwide, funding innovative treatments and accelerating progress. Thanks to an endowment that covers administrative costs, 100% of direct donations support cancer research.

October 2026 Update
A Letter from Sarah
October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, and this year it lands right before a milestone for me. In November, I'll be two years cancer free. I don't take a single day of that for granted.
Survivorship is still part of my every day: the medications, the infusions, the scans. It's also a reminder of why this campaign exists. I'm here because I advocated for myself, because of research, and because of the people who've spent their careers changing what's possible. Sip With Purpose is how we give some of that back.
Sip With Purpose isn't just an October campaign. Every bottle of Isla Rose Brut Rosé supports The V Foundation all year long, and so far we've raised $84,892 for them through the campaign. Throughout the year, we also host events and partner with organizations like the Breast Cancer Research Foundation, The American Cancer Society, Me Squared Cancer Foundation, Cycle for Survival and more. Together, our community has helped raise funds for cancer research and cancer charities. October is when we push further.
This year, we're going bigger than ever. One of our Club Bricoleur members has anonymously pledged up to $50,000 to The V Foundation. It's an extraordinary gift, and I'm deeply grateful to this member for believing in what we're building together. Our goal is to bring our V Foundation total to $150,000 by the end of the year. With Isla Rose sales, our Harvest Party, and gifts from our community, October can get us most of the way there.
At Bricoleur, everything we do comes back to connection: to the land, to each other, and to the community we serve. It guides how we plan a club event, how we build a menu from the garden, and how we show up for the people around us. Sip With Purpose is where that connection shows up most clearly. It's a community rallying around something bigger than any one of us. It's a club member quietly choosing to multiply what we raise. It's a bottle of Isla Rose shared at a table with people you love, knowing it's helping someone you'll never meet. That's the kind of place we want Bricoleur to be.
