Raising a Glass to Fight Against Cancer
Sip With Purpose
Everyone has been touched by cancer in some way. At Bricoleur Vineyards, this fight is deeply personal. Co-Founder Sarah Hanson Citron is one of over 4 million people in the U.S. impacted by breast cancer. Since her diagnosis in April 2023, she has bravely undergone chemotherapy, radiation, a double mastectomy, and many reconstructive surgeries - all while continuing to advocate for early detection and advancing cancer research. Through our Sip With Purpose campaign, Bricoleur Vineyards has proudly donated over $102,000 to organizations like The V Foundation, The American Cancer Society, and Cycle for Survival. This October, we raised $7,722 for The V Foundation.

Fueling Research, Inspiring Hope
The V Foundation
Bricoleur Vineyards’ founders have supported the V Foundation since 2022 through Sonoma Epicurean, where they learned about the I-SPY 2 clinical trial for hormone-driven breast cancers. Our CEO & Co-Founder, Sarah, completed the trial in 2024, and it reduced her tumor by 40%, offering meaningful hope to others facing similar diagnoses. Founded by ESPN and coach Jim Valvano, the V Foundation has awarded more than $310 million in research grants since 1993, with 100% of direct donations going to cancer research. Your support drives new discoveries, fuels lifesaving trials, and brings us closer to a cure. Thanks to groundbreaking cancer research, survivorship is higher than ever before.

Every Sip Moves Us Closer to a Cure
Isla Rose Brut Rosé
With every bottle of Isla Rose Brut Rosé sold, we donate $5 to the V Foundation and for every case purchased, our founders personally match the $60 donation. During the month of October, we honor Breast Cancer Awareness Month by doubling this donation to $10 for every bottle sold, and $120 in matching case donations. This sparkling Rosé was named in honor of Sarah’s daughter, Isla Rose. Isla was born on February 4th, which is World Cancer Day. This wine symbolizes Sarah’s strength and her legacy as she works daily to advocate for early testing, as well as helping to raise critical funding for groundbreaking cancer treatments, just like the one she was able to utilize thanks to The V Foundation.
Meticulously Crafted & Always Exceptional
Homegrown
Last October we re-launched our signature Homegrown tasting in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, and each October we donate $10 from each Homegrown tasting for cancer research.

Our 7th Annual
Harvest Party
We celebrated the harvest season this year at our 7th Annual Harvest Party. Each year, we donate the $10 admission fee to The V Foundation. This year we were able to raise over $4000 at this event alone!
Supporting the Community
On the Road
This October we were able to participate in a number of events near and far that helped raise money not only for The V Foundation, but for other incredible cancer related organizations as well. Our team attended Sutter Health’s Catwalk for a Cure, where our auction package helped contribute to the $580,000 raised to help provide no-cost cancer support services, and Sarah herself was able to model at To Celebrate Life's 30th Annual “Stepping Out” Gala & fashion show! We also had the chance to pour our wines at South Bay Wine Club’s “Wine & Jazz” night, as well as Social Wellness’ “Pink & Pour” event!

The Pinkest Night of the Year
Miranda McKeon’s Pink Party
Bricoleur was excited to share our Isla Rose Brut Rosé & a few of our other wines for actress Miranda McKeon’s 5th Annual Pink Party. Miranda was diagnosed with stage 3 breast cancer at the age of 19, but this diagnosis hasn’t held her back. Miranda has become an advocate for cancer awareness, and she has helped to raise hundreds of thousands of dollars for various cancer organizations. Miranda’s Pink Party raised over $8000 for The Breast Cancer Research Foundation, who is the world’s largest private funder of breast cancer research and metastatic breast cancer research. We’re proud to have played a part in this beautiful event.

Staying Strong
An Update from Sarah
In just over two years, Sarah has gone through IVF and medically induced menopause, countless MRIs and PET scans, 10+ biopsies, 4 surgeries, 3 bone infusions (3 more to go!), 16 rounds of chemotherapy, 30 rounds of radiation, and a daily regimen of ongoing medications. This past October, Sarah underwent surgery for the 4th time, and had her 3rd bone infusion. Sarah’s fight only encourages her to continue raising much needed funding to support research for new & groundbreaking treatments, as well as encouraging early testing.
