This past weekend, on October 22nd, 2023 we had the honor of participating in Making Strides Against Breast Cancer Bay Area in San Francisco at Crissy Field. Despite the rainy Sunday morning, our dedicated team showed their commitment to the fight against cancer. We take great pride in our team, who walked in support of our co-founder, Sarah Citron. It’s an honor to be a part of Team Sarah!
Making Strides Against Breast Cancer, organized by the American Cancer Society, has been a beacon of hope, resilience, and change across the United States for the past three decades. The American Cancer Society uses the funds raised through Making Strides Against Breast Cancer for groundbreaking research, offering free information and support to individuals and families affected by breast cancer and advocating for policies that improve the lives of those affected by cancer.
Making Strides Against Breast Cancer is a celebration of courage and hope, a movement uniting communities to end breast cancer as we know it for everyone. Team Bricoleur Vineyards proudly raised an impressive $6,415 for the American Cancer Society, and we’re equally proud to have ranked among the event’s top 6 fundraising teams. We are thrilled to have made a meaningful contribution to this incredible organization.
